my family is planning our first disney trip. We will be in disney March 10-16th 2012. I have a 7 yr old boy. should we get a stroller for him?

    Nikki,

Your son is getting getting to that age where it is hard to decide if you should, or should not, get him a stroller. I have girls, aged 6 and 4, and for me it is still a lock that we are going to get a stroller on our next visit. And they will be almost 7 and 5 by then.

I would say that at 7, I would still get one. Your son is probably not yet busy walking quite that much in his regular days at home, so a stroller would help him keep energized and rested. And if you think of staying out at night for fireworks or nighttime parades you have somewhere for him to both watch, and if need be, fall asleep.

I would say that strollers probably stop being useful around when a child is 8. A bit of it is knowing your own kid, but for you I would stick to it for this next trip.

    I hope that this helps?

    Have a magical vacation!
