Hiya, and welcome to planDisney! My fellow panelists and I are always happy to help with your Disney vacation planning questions! It looks like your vacation is coming up in just a couple of short months, and you must be so excited!
It sounds like you've accidentally purchased a Disney+ Gift Card, rather than a
Disney Gift Card. I know it's not much consolation, but I'll tell you that you're not the only one who has encountered this tough situation. I'm so glad that you've already reached out to the friendly and helpful Cast Members for assistance. Since I don't have all of the details of your purchase, I'll start from the beginning, to be sure we cover all of the bases.
First, please reach out to the place where you purchased the gift cards, and see if there is a representative or a department that can help you. Be sure to have your proof of purchase handy, for quick reference. If your gift cards were purchased directly from Disney, you want to be sure to contact the
Disney+ Help Center. I did a bit of research within the fine print on this, and found the following terms on the
Disney+ Gift Card site: "The Cards are not refundable except as required by applicable law." Please do not hesitate to
reach out to an Agent to discuss your purchase and any options you have. I know you're hoping for a quick and easy resolution, and I'm sending you all the pixie dust in hopes that you find a happy solution.
It looks like your family will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. It's a beautiful celebration of springtime, with life-size topiaries of your favorite Disney characters and creative dishes from outdoor kitchens. Your family will love strolling among the thoughtful exhibits and grooving at the Garden Rocks Concert Series.
Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have about your upcoming vacation - we love giving recommendations on everything from dining to transportation to special activities!
Cheers!
Jennifer
