Ahoy, Teresa!
How exciting to hear you are planning a magical voyage aboard the Disney Dream! I'm glad you came by to "sea" us with your question because I'd love to share some ideas with you on how to make this a wonderful vacation for your crew.
Vibe, the teen space aboard Disney Cruise Line, is only for Guests ages 14-17. Unfortunately, your son will not be able to participate since he is already 18, but I do have some ideas on how your teens can enjoy this beautiful vessel together. The cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator and the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will be your go-to guides to all the things happening throughout the cruise. Even though they won't be able to enjoy Vibe when it's open for teens, there will be a time each day where it will be available to Guests of all ages. I also suggest checking out the
Midship Detective Agency. There are several mysteries to solve with various outcomes so encourage them to play more than once! Another area to be sure to visit is Deck 13 aft where they will find Goofy Golf and Goofy's Sports Deck. If they want to catch a first-run Disney movie, they can check the schedule for the Buena Vista Theatre as movies are offered each day. The pool deck is the perfect place to lounge in the sun or shade so they may just want to relax with a book or their music. The
AquaDuck will also keep them busy as two can ride together. Disney Trivia, participating in Dream Quest (scavenger team event in D Lounge) and playing BINGO are other fun ideas to think about while onboard.
I'm sorry I didn't have better news, Teresa! Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Have a magical day!
Nancy
