Hello, my family is planning a disney cruise to alaska. My childred are very yound (3 and 1) and are not going to be able to do all the awesome excursions (hiking glaciers). Are they allowed to stay in the kids clubs aboard while we do a shore excursion?

    Welcome aboard, Naomi!

Sailing with Disney Cruise Line is always magical, but an Alaskan adventure with Disney is something you'll really delight in, as it's so different than any other Disney Cruise Line voyage! I'm so happy to hear that you and your husband are planning to enjoy some of the exciting Port Adventures that are so unique to that area!

You'll be happy to know that yes, children are welcome to be checked into the Youth Clubs for super fun entertainment and exciting activities with the fabulous Youth Counselors while you head out to explore the landscapes of Alaska. Just be sure that you let the counselors know that you'll be on a Port Adventure and leave a cell number just in case they need to reach you. But, don't worry, your kids will be in such great hands while you're out exploring. Your three year-old won't need advanced reservations since he or she gets to hang out in the super cool Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab, but your one year-old will need reservations for It's A Small World Nursery for the tiniest cruisers. Be sure to make reservations for that when you book your Port Adventures, as times there do fill up. I don't know who will have more fun that day, you on your Port Adventure, or your kiddos in the awesome Youth Clubs, Naomi, but either way, you're all in for a magical day!

Have so much fun on this cruise and as you explore the beautiful scenery of Alaska, Naomi!
