    Hi There, My family is planning on coming to Disney World sometime between mid Sept-mid Oct 2013. Do you know when they will release the information on what deals there will be during that time? Thank-You

    Discounts can be announced at just about any time, but typically Fall discounts are announced in late Spring/early Summer. One great site I always use for research is MouseSavers. If you search this site for "historical discounts" you'll be able to pull up a great chart of past discounts, when they became available and the promotion offered. It's an invaluable tool!

    If you'd like to go ahead and book your vacation now, the good news is that Disney is nearly always able to apply a newly announced discount or promotion to an existing reservation if the resort and/or room category is available. If the resort you had reserved at is not available, you are usually given the option to change to an available resort at that time. You'll just need to call the Disney reservations line or your travel agent to let them know you'd like to take advantage of the discount.

    The good news is, that once you pick your resort and have your reservations set - you can start planning the extra special touches for your trip - like maybe a character meal at a special restaurant!
