Hi Shannon!
Welcome to the Moms Panel! I'm so glad you are here and looking to book your first cruise onboard one of the spectacular Disney ships! One of my number one tips for cruising Disney is to book early! I have always lived by this "rule" and have been able to secure the best rates and stateroom locations for my cruises. Since it is just the beginning of 2012, you do have a while longer until Disney publishes their 2014 cruise itineraries. Those dates are usually made available around 18 months ahead of time. If you are on
Facebook make sure to like the Disney Cruise Line page to keep up with all the latest information. They are also on
Twitter and
YouTube as well. By following them through these media outlets, you will be one of the first to know when 2014 dates have been released.
I wouldn't worry too much about hurricanes when booking a November cruise. It is towards the end of the season, and Disney Cruise Line won't let a hurricane stand in your way of having a magical time! I have cruised several times during hurricane season and had the most marvelous weather. If there is a hurricane or disturbance during your cruise, the captain and his crew can usually find a way around it!
If there are any other questions I can help you with during your planning process, please stop back by and let me know!
Have a wonderful day!
Nancy
