Hi Keshera,
My very
favorite time of year to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth is during the
holidays. With beautiful decorations, festive Christmas music, delicious seasonal snacks, and special holiday experiences in every theme park, your heart will be FULL of Christmas joy and happy memories with your family!
Yes, you are correct that
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party was not able to take place last year as part of the
phased reopening. There have not been any announcements about holiday plans for this coming year yet, so I'd encourage you to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for any updates. While we don't know for sure what this year's holiday celebrations will look like quite yet, I'm happy to share that even without Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party last year, Disney did a fantastic job of weaving some of the event's highlights into
special moments at Magic Kingdom Park - no additional ticket required. With Christmas cavalcades (featuring the beloved "Once Upon a Christmastime" melody), the Holiday Trolley on Main Street, U.S.A., Cinderella Castle in all her festive glory, and some incredible
snacks at Magic Kingdom Park, the Christmas magic was definitely still there. My family visited during December last year, and we absolutely loved it! Whether or not Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party happens this year, it will still be a very special time to visit!
Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Keshera, and please stop by again if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip. I hope you have a truly magical vacation!
