my family is planning to attend MVMCP on 11/10/09. What time can we gain entrance to the park if we only purchase the MVMCP tickets? Also, are the kennels open late on those nights? We're tring to decide what to do with our "other child." :-) Th

Disney's hard-ticket Magic Kingdom parties (Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party) officially start at 7:00 p.m. However, it would be impossible for the park to accommodate all the guests in line if every party-goer had to wait until exactly 7:00 to enter the park.

It has, therefore, been standard practice over the past several years to let party ticket holders into the park earlier than the officially stated start time. Historically, guests have been able to enter the MK as early as 4:00 on party nights with only the party ticket. I personally went to a MNSSHP last year and was let into the MK with only my party ticket at 4:15 in the afternoon. There was a separate entrance line for party guests which was well marked. While Disney does reserve the right to change this practice, for planning purposes you can assume that you'll be able to get into the MK at 4:00 with only a party ticket.

The pet kennels at WDW are now operated by Best Friends Pet Care. You can find out more about them on their own website at bestfriendspetcare.com or on the WDW website HERE. The kennels are open from one hour before park opening to one hour after park closing. The kennels are open during times such as Extra Magic Hours and the Magic Kingdom Parties. Overnight boarding is also available. For more information, you can call the Magic Kingdom kennel directly at 407-824-6568.

I hope you and all you children have a great time at WDW.
