    My family and I planned our trip the end of may through the first of june, then I heard from a friend that was not a good week to visit with kids because of a certain group having their week

    Hi, Ronald.  I do not know of a group holding a week long event during the end of May.  Beginning on June 2 at the Orlando Science Center, the annual non-Disney sponsored event known as "GayDays" takes place.  The events scheduled to take place at the Walt Disney World theme parks run from June 4 through June 7, and each day the group has a scheduled meet at a different Walt Disney World theme park.

    If your vacation is over on the first of June, your trip does not coincide with the events taking place around this convention.
