Sheatye,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
Being able to park hop is such a great way to add some flexibility and spontaneity to your vacation! I recommend it to most of my friends planning trips to Walt Disney World.
Moving between the parks is not as hard as it might seem. If you are going between
EPCOT and the
Magic Kingdom, you have the monorail to whisk you in modern elegance. If you are going between EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios, you have the
Disney Skyliner. As for all other connections, Disney has a bus service that starts around 1:30 pm that will get you from your first park to your next stop. That would apply in all cases involving
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, as well as the Magic Kingdom - Hollywood Studios connection.
BONUS TIPRemember that to park hop, the park you are changing to has to have available capacity. To find out a park's capacity status, you can call the Park Hopper automated phone line at
(407) 560-5000. The recorded line can tell you the availability of space at the other parks before you head over. Capacity for hopping is not necessarily the same as the number of spots secured by a Theme Park Reservation, so even if a park you want to hop to had all its Theme Park Reservations selected before that day, there likely can still be space for park hoppers to visit. I have never had a time where I was blocked from entering another park, but it always pays to check before making the trip.
