Ho-ho-ho, Ari!
Thanks for bringing your very merry question to us here at planDisney! I'm so happy you wrote to us because nothing is better than planning a
Disney holiday on Land & Sea. Your plan sounds so holly jolly that I can hardly wait to help you make this dream come true!
I checked the Disney Cruise Line website and it appears that you have two options for sailing out of
Port Canaveral on a
Very Merrytime Cruise. What a perfect way to get in the Christmas spirit! One is a
3-Night cruise aboard Disney Wish, December 20-23, with stops in Nassau, Bahamas, and
Disney Castaway Cay. The other is a
4-Night cruise aboard Disney Fantasy, December 18-22, with stops in
Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point and Disney Castaway Cay. Either of these sailings will have you singing "Roll Out the Holly" all the way to
Walt Disney World Resort!
Ari, you will love a Very Merrytime Cruise. The ship is decked out in holiday decor and there are special events each day like Story Time with Mrs. Clause, caroling, Characters in their finest festive attire, and more!
My recommendation is to
contact Disney Cruise Line directly and allow one of the helpful Cast Members to plan your Land & Sea vacation for you. They can even arrange for transportation between the port and Walt Disney World Resort for you (for an extra fee) and provide information for events such as
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. There is no cost to use their planning services.
Visions of sugarplums are already dancing in my head, Ari! I hope you will call today and make plans for this yuletide vacation. Christmas aboard Disney Cruise Line and at Walt Disney World is my favorite time of year, so let me know if you have other questions!
'Tis the season to make magical memories,
Shannon
