My family and I plan on running the 5k during Princess weekend 2018 and my daughter(age 14) will run the 10k. I am nervous about getting all of us registered - 3 people for the 5k and just her for the 10k. Does she need a separate Active account from me?

    Hi Dixie!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I understand your nerves about registering multiple people for multiple events for Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend. If you follow these few simple tips I think you'll find registration goes fairly smooth!

    1. Create an Active.com Account: Before registration, go to Active.com and create an account for yourself with your mailing address and credit card information already input. This way when registration goes live a majority of your information auto-populates and it shouldn't take you more than a few seconds to register!
    2. Be ready for registration on May 2, 2017 at noon EST: I usually set a cell phone reminder for myself to go off 15-20 minutes beforehand to make sure I'm ready to click the registration link as soon as it opens. While I know there have been issues with the site crashing in the past, I think a lot of these kinks have been worked out and most folks that are ready right as it opens rarely miss out!
    3. Just register, come back for other items! I usually just worry about getting myself registered, then go back in and edit my registration to add proof of time if it's necessary or to purchase commemorative items. This will help expedite since you are registering multiple people.
I recommend that anyone over the age of 18 creates their own Active account and registers themselves. Your daughter does not need to because she is a minor so you can certainly register her and pick her bib up as well! I hope y'all have a wondEARful race and please let me know if you have any other questions.
