I have a family of picky eaters. We want to go to several character meals but I am not sure which meals are best. The kids were not happy with the selection at Epcot's Garden Grill. We would need to be able to get there via resort provided transportation.

Hi, Thomas!  There are quite a few options that might work for the pickiest of eaters in any family, and some of them even have characters!

My best recommendation for you would be the character meals that offer a buffet dining option.  You will find Mickey and friends at Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort, Donald Duck and the gang at Tusker House at Animal Kingdom, and either characters from Alice in Wonderland or Cinderella at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian.  If you're at the Magic Kingdom, the Crystal Palace has a character buffet that features Pooh and friends, and if you children are younger, breakfast and lunch at Hollywood and Vine at Hollywood Studios has some favorites from Disney Junior.

While the characters are subject to change, the buffet meals offer a wide variety of meal options that include everything from salads and cold cuts to kid friendly items such as pizza or mac and cheese to scrumptious desserts.  The breakfast buffets will have many of your familiar breakfast favorites, including eggs, bacon, sausage, and maybe even some Mickey waffles.

I hope these alternatives to the Garden Grill are options that are better suited to your family!
