    Hello! My family is participating in Magic Kingdom's Moonlight Magic in April. Is there a list of attractions that will be open during this event? Particularly wondering if Splash Mountain will be open. Thanks!

    Thanks for dropping back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so happy that you trust us to help you with your vacation questions. Moonlight Magic is a complimentary after-hours celebration and just one of the incredible perks exclusive to Disney Vacation Club members and their guests. I look at it as the ultimate extra magic hours with just you and your Disney Vacation Club family. In Magic Kingdom Park for Moonlight Magic you will experience shorter wait times, complimentary refreshments, and some excellent meet-and-greet opportunities with some of your favorite characters. It is quite a large dose of pixie-dust sprinkled on what is sure to be an already magical vacation.  

    Since Moonlight Magic is a special treat for Disney Vacation Club Members, they like to keep the attractions and the magic as a surprise for the guests attending. Upon arrival you will receive a brochure that includes all of the attractions and special events of the evening. I will keep my fingers crossed for you that Splash Mountain is open on the evening of your Moonlight Magic in Magic Kingdom Park, but I have a feeling that even if it is not, you will have an absolutely magical time!
