    Does your family take part in the DIsney Vacation Club? If so, do you save a lot?

    Thank you so much for your question Kristy!

    I am not personally a member of the Disney Vacation Club, but many of my other Disney Moms Panel friends are, so I asked the moms to weigh in with their advice and tips for joining DVC and they sent me some awesome suggestions!

    Anna said that the biggest benefit for her family is being able to stay at deluxe WDW resorts, while knowing that the room rates won't increase. 

    Andrea mentioned that one of the best benefits for her family is the discount on the Annual Pass, which allows them to plan a trip each summer. 

    Beth and Anna also added that they save so much money on meals because they are able to stay in the Villas at the Deluxe Resorts and they can make their own breakfasts for their families before they leave for the parks. They can also save money by cooking meals instead of using room service when wanting to dine in late at night. They also save money at the airport! The villas have a washer/dryer in the rooms, so they can pack less, do laundry and save themselves from checking extra bags! Genius!!

    Tron also mentioned that she has been able to take vacations and bring along extra family members, which has made for special family memories.

    One thing I heard from all the moms is that DVC saves them money in many ways AND the resounding thing I heard is that they've been able to experience vacations with their families that they otherwise wouldn't have been able to afford. Check out the DVC info booths while you are on vacation and check it out to see if it makes sense for your family.
