Hey, Michelle! This is such a great question, so I am glad you stopped by to chat with us. My family has utilized
rideshare services many times while in Orlando and have found them to be a highly efficient way to travel, especially while outside of the Walt Disney World Resort gates. Many nearby hotels do provide complimentary shuttles to the theme parks, but often they are only at designated times, which may not be a convenient time for your family. Taxis and rideshare services are a viable option for you if you do desire to use them instead of the provided shuttle. In my experience, most rideshare drivers do not provide car seats or booster seats, so I am glad you are thinking of bringing them along to keep your children safe.
Once you arrive at the theme parks,
know that each one does provide lockers. They come in two sizes and are subject to availability. Hopefully, the larger one will work for you. I will list out their sizes and current price below, but please note that these prices are subject to change at any time:
Small locker: 12" x 10" x 17" and is currently $10 per day
Large locker: 15.5" x 13" x 17" and is currently $12 per day
If the booster seats are a bit too large for these lockers, then know that you can find Jumbo-sized lockers at Epcot and Magic Kingdom Park. These are sized at 17” x 22" x 26" and the current cost is $15 per day.
If you are renting the locker with cash or a major credit card, you may go directly to the self-service kiosk to rent it. If you need to use your MagicBand (linked to a credit card) or a Disney Gift Card, then you will need to visit the merchandise location nearest to the lockers for assistance. There, a Cast Member can process your payment and give you a code to input into the self-service kiosk.
Thanks again for bringing your question to us and please let us know if you have any others.
