My family and will be in Orlando during the week of 12/19 thru 12/26. We're planning on going to Epcot and Animal Kingdom. Need suggestions for Xmas Day. Would like to have xmas dinner somewhere. Not sure if we should spend the day at a park.

    Hi Gina,

If you are staying at the Walt Disney World Resorts, you will have a better chance of entering a park than if you are a guest staying outside of the parks. This is because everyone will want to be in Disney World for Christmas Day. The Magic Kingdom will be the busiest, and if you are not in the parks first thing when it opens you could be shut out.

You could tour EPCOT this day because it would be a unique way to experience Christmas around the world. Some suggestions for dinner in EPCOT would be Le Cellier or Teppan Edo. However, many of the the restaurants could be sold out for dinner. You may need to make a late lunch reservation.

How about eating in a resort? Boma in Animal Kingdom Lodge is delicious as is Whispering Canyon Cafe in Wilderness Lodge. I would definitely call and make a reservation as soon as possible.

    Have a great time!
