Hello! Our family will be in Orlando 10/7- 10/10. How are the crowds normally durning these dates specifically on the weekends? Also, what can we expect for temp wise? Thanks! I dont know who is more excited, my two year old or me! :)

Hi Megan! October is one of my favorite months to visit Walt Disney World! I've found that the crowds are generally low to moderate in early October and the weather is pleasant. High temperatures generally average  in the mid 80s during the day, with evening lows in the mid 60s.  Most days it's warm enough to go to the pool, but not oppressively hot -- perfect!

There are lots of fun special activities at Disney World in October too. At Epcot, you'll find the International Food & Wine Festival with special cooking demonstrations and events and booths set up throughout the World Showcase where you can purchase food and drinks representing various countries. At the Magic Kingdom, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is happening -- wear your costumes and trick or treat through the park. The special Boo To You parade during this party is not to be missed!

Have a magical time this October! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We're happy to help!
