Dumela (hello) Deanna!
Welcome to planDisney; I’m glad you stopped by with your question for us.
You’re going to love staying at
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village! This magnificent Disney Resort hotel offers spectacular views of lush savannas where Guests are able to see over 200 hoofed animals and birds! And don’t even get me started on my love for
‘Ohana. Starting your day with the Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch is the best beginning to any day! I love that the breakfast serves yummy selections family-style, and it’s hard not to squeal at how cute the Stitch and Mickey waffles are!
Deanna, you have a few ways to get to Disney’s Polynesian Resort to enjoy your ‘Ohana reservation.
Complimentary Transportation: The
complimentary transportation system begins operating about 45 minutes before the park opens. Depending on the time of your reservation, you may be able to take a bus from your resort to
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. From there, you can transfer to take a bus to
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Additionally, you can take a bus from your resort to
Magic Kingdom Park. From there, you could take the Disney Monorail to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. I like to give myself a full hour when transferring from a park to a Disney Resort hotel to have some wiggle room. Typically, buses arrive every 20 minutes, and the journey may take about 15 to 20 minutes.
Minnie Van™:If you’d like direct service, I recommend a treat-yourself moment and get magically whisked away by a polka-dotted vehicle. In my experience, Cast Members driving these are awesome and so very knowledgeable. I estimate that this would cut your time in half to your destination. The
Minnie Van™ is connected by Lyft, and all the vehicles are equipped with a child safety seat, which the fabulous Cast Members are trained to install, should you need it. On top of it being magical, the ride feels seamless and convenient.
Rideshare service:Another quick and less expensive option would be to use an app-based ridesharing service such as Uber and Lyft. Guests are able to use their smartphones to plug in the number of passengers, type of vehicle, etc. Please keep in mind that if you have little ones needing car seats, you must request vehicles that can provide car seats and/or booster seats, or you can bring your own.
Whichever method you choose, Hakuna Matata! It means no worries because you’ll have an excellent breakfast at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
Wishing you an enchanting visit, Deanna!
