My family and I are going on a 4-night Bahamian cruise from Dec. 9-13, 2012. We'll be spending a day at WDW on Dec. 8. We are renting a car because we plan on going to church before we drive to Port Canaveral. What time should we leave Orlando?

    Ahoy Ana!
You have chosen a wonderful time of year for your Bahamian adventure and beginning your vacation with a day at WDW is even better!  Your resort, the theme parks, and the Disney Dream will all be decked out with the most beautiful holiday decorations you have ever seen!
On the morning of your sailing, I recommend leaving the Orlando area no later than 12-12:30.  The drive usually takes about an hour so with the tolls and parking at the port, you should be in the cruise terminal checking  in about 1:30.  All Guests need to be checked in by 3:45 so you should have plenty of time to start your day with your church service and make the drive to Cape Canaveral.
Thanks so much for the question, Ana!  If you need any other assistance, please let me know!
    Have a magical day!
