Our family has multiple food sensitivities. We are looking at making reservations at the Roundup Rodeo BBQ but would like to check ingredients before making the reservations. Where can I find the menu ingredients?

Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it's off to Walt Disney World Resort you go, Jennifer! How exciting! I bet you can’t wait to be in the middle of the magic in just two months, but let's get your question answered first.

As someone who deals with a severe food allergy, I completely empathize with your family’s situation. Thankfully, Walt Disney World Resort goes above and beyond when it comes to accommodating allergy-friendly and special dietary requests for Guests. They even have a team of wonderful Cast Members that are dedicated to making sure Guests can dine as safely as possible during their magical vacations. Reach out to the Special Diets team at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com 14 days prior to your arrival to inquire about the ingredients used and to ask for a Special Dietary Request Form. Once they receive your form, they will coordinate with Roundup Rodeo BBQ and any other restaurants you have reservations at to make sure your family has a safe dining experience. Restaurants will take reasonable efforts to accommodate your family’s needs, though there is no guarantee they will be able to. If you would like to know information on ingredients prior to making a reservation at Roundup Rodeo BBQ, go ahead and email the Special Diets team now. Just make sure to complete the Special Dietary Request Form once your reservation has been made.

Now, dining at Quick-Service locations is a little different. They may not have an allergy menu available for viewing, but they should be able to provide a list of ingredients for you to review. You may also request a special diet consult before placing your order. If you wish to enjoy the delectable dishes at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, you may ask to see a list of ingredients in their menu items before ordering. They should have a binder you can look through to make sure an item is safe, or they can call the chef if a binder is not available. Remember, you are allowed to bring your own drinks and snacks into the parks as well, so that can be a failsafe if needed.

Jennifer, I hope this information proves helpful. Remember, there's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow waiting for you at The Most Magical Place on Earth! Have a fabulous trip, and we’ll see ya real soon.
