Hi. My family and I will be moving to the Orlando area mid to late September of this year. We were going to want to take advantage of Florida resident services as soon as we get there, including the Pixie pass. Is this possible as soon as we get there?

    Hi Justin!

I'm sending my hello from the Sunshine State and I'm excited to see that you'll be a future resident!  There are so many great perks of being a Florida resident and Walt Disney World discounts is just one of them.  I love the freedom of visiting the parks as often as possible with our annual passes as well.

Taking advantage of the Florida resident discounts requires proof of residency.  One of the options is through the Digital Residency Verification online, for which you will need a government issued Florida ID for.  Since you'll be a new resident, you probably won't have one of those right away, so there are alternatives to providing proof such as:
    • Proof of current mortgage
    • Current homeowner's insurance policy or bill
    • Current car registration, insurance policy or bill
    • Current utility bill such as cable, phone, power or water
Everyone over the age of 18 must provide one of the above.  Once you have purchased your Pixie Passes, bring your residency proof to any ticket window at any theme park or Disney Springs to have them activated.

Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions.

    Have a magical day!
