Hi!! My family of 4(my mother, myself, son 12 & daughter 5) will be coming for a visit in early June. We are trying to decide between AKL Kidani village(renting DVC points) or the Art of Animation. Which resort do you think the kids would enjoy more?

    Hi Theresa!

I am sure you and your family are excited about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. As you probably know, staying on property offers many great benefits. Both Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village and Disney's Art of Animation Resort are wonderful Resort hotels for a family of four to stay.

I would suggest a stay at Kidani Village for your family. Our oldest son loved the Savanna View we had during his first visit to Walt Disney World. He still talks about how much fun he had identifying the animals with the Wildlife Field Guide we found in our room. The Samawati Springs Pool offers a perfect spot for you all to cool off during June. Your daughter can have fun at Departure Zone, specifically for children 5 to 7 years of age. Complimentary equipment for basketball and tennis are available at Community Hall, so your son should also be able to find plenty of recreational fun. Everyone can enjoy stories and roasted marshmallows around the Kidani Campfire, and Movies Under the Stars by the Samawati Springs Pool is another nice evening activity. Check with the Front Desk for a complete schedule.

I hope you and your family have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort! Please let me know if you have any other questions as your vacation approaches.

    Have a magical day,
