Ahoy, Paola!
Can you believe in just a few days you'll be sailing into the sunset on your Disney Cruise vacation? You must be so excited to get onboard and experience all the magic and wonder Disney offers at sea. What's even more thrilling is that you've chosen a
Very Merrytime Cruise so you'll feel the spirit of the season as soon as you board!
Paola, I can imagine your suitcases are out and ready to be filled with some cruise attire! The lounges, restaurants and theaters can be cool at night, so I recommend pants or nice jeans, but shorts will work too. On your 4-night voyage, you can plan on two cruise casual nights, one pirate-themed night (or cruise casual) and one optional dress-up night. Usually my husband will bring a couple of pairs of slacks and a pair of jeans along with some polo or button-down shirts. My tween son will typically wear something similar. My daughter and I like to wear either pants with nice tops or sundresses with sweaters. Pirate attire is completely optional, but it's fun to dress-up for the festivities and have your picture made with Captain Jack Sparrow and the Disney Characters in their pirate attire.
The
Disney Cruise Line Packing List is a great resource as you gather everything you need this week, Paola. Pay special attention to the "Embarkation Day Basics" section, so you have everything you need when you board the ship. Your checked luggage will arrive throughout the afternoon so you'll want to have these essentials in your carry-on. If you have any other last minute questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out. We wish you the most magical vacation next week!
