Can family members staying in the same room at a Disney resort purchase theme park tickets for a different number of days? In our case, my wife and youngest daughter want to spend four days at the parks, but my son and I only want two days at the parks.

    Matthew,

Thanks for asking me your question to planDisney!

So, the answer to your question is both yes, and no.

If you are purchasing a Disney resort hotel package you must have everyone on the same ticket type, including the duration of the ticket package. However, there is a way to do what you ask about in your question. If you book your Disney Resort hotel room first, selecting the “No Tickets” option when making that purchase, you have already completed step one. Next, you would need to purchase two different sets of tickets based on the two separate groups in your family. You would need to then associate these different ticket packages to your overall vacation plans, via your My Disney Experience Account.

    BONUS TIP #1
What do you do if you have already booked a vacation package, complete with room and tickets? If you contact Disney’s Help Desk via phone, they might be able to help you reset your vacation plans as suggested.

    BONUS TIP #2
This whole process can seem somewhat confusing. A good way to make your day easier is to book via a Disney-authorized, no-fee, Vacation Planner. They can help you book things just the way you want them, and you can have the confidence that your plans are set up correctly.
