Hi Susan!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you have a fantastic trip coming up. Two summers ago, we vacationed at Walt Disney World with my sister and her family, and my brother-in-law and his family, which included my sister-in-law’s family! Our total was 19. It was a lot of moving parts, but it was so.much.fun!
We recently stayed at the
Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and I think that would be the perfect option for your family. The Villas sleep nine in three bedrooms (including a bunk bed, which my kids loved), and come with a full kitchen and grill outside. We loved pre-ordering our groceries and cooking a few meals at our Villa. I’m a “glamper,” not a camper, so it was just enough rustic to make it adventurous, but close enough to the action that we were only a five-minute walk away from boat transportation to
Disney Springs!
You should also look into the
3 Bedroom Grand Villas at the
Disney Vacation Club Resort properties. They sleep up to 12 adults and also come with full kitchens and multiple bathrooms. Now if one or more of the kiddos is under the age of two, and will be sleeping in a crib/pack n’ play, you might also be comfortable in the 2 Bedroom Villas. Most sleep up to eight adults (
some nine, if they are combined with a lock-off Villa), and come with all the same amenities as the 3 Bedroom. If you want a dream destination of mine, book the
Cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins. The decor is modern rustic, the location is perfect, and you have a private jacuzzi on your deck. They also sleep up to eight adults, and one of the rooms has the cutest hideaway bed that I’m sure the kiddos will love!
Susan, if you have any more questions, please come back. In the meantime, good luck with the planning!
