If I have a family member come visit me at the resort, does it cost them to park for a few hours and can they eat at he resort quick service ?

Hi, Staci! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for bringing another great question to us! Visiting Walt Disney World Resort is always a magical experience, but it is even more so when you are able to spend time with your family. Your family member is welcome to come visit you and check out your amazing Resort hotel. They will just need to inform the Cast Member at the gate upon arrival that they are visiting you. There is not a fee to park at a Resort hotel during the day, only one for cars belonging to guests booked at the resort overnight. During your day together, your guests are also welcome to enjoy any of the dining locations there or even hop aboard the complimentary Disney transportation to visit Disney Springs with you if you would like to enjoy a meal or shopping adventure there.

The only amenity I can think of that they would not be able to experience with you is your resort's feature pool. These are usually exclusively for guests staying at the resort. In my experience during the past few visits, Cast Members have been checking MagicBands in the pool area. No worries, as I am sure you will be able to find lots of things to do with your family during your day together!

Thanks again for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions as you plan your pixie-dusted adventures!
