Hi Cortney,
Welcome to planDisney! I always get excited to help a fellow Tennessean plan an epic Disney World vacation. I am assuming that you are trying to ensure that all of your family members can see the entire travel party on
My Disney Experience so you can make dining reservations, share hotel reservations, and coordinate
Disney Genie+ Service. If that is the case then your fix is simple.
The first order of business is making sure that everyone is connected in "Family & Friends." Each user that manages their own account will need to sign on and add your whole travel party to their "My Family & Friends" list. To do this, you will navigate to "My Family & Friends" in the My Disney Experience app and select "Add a Guest." The site will walk you through a series of prompts and send a request to that guest to start sharing plans. Once that person accepts the request, you will be able to see all of each other's plans as well as plans for anyone that you manage on your account.
If you still are not able to see each other's plans after the connection is finalized you may just need to update the settings in your account. If you see the person on your "Family & Friends" look next to their name for the "Settings" option. Select "Settings" and choose the option to "Allow (Insert Friend's Name Here) to View All Your Plans." I love having the ability to see all my close friends and family's plans even when we are not traveling together!
Once you are all connected and sharing plans, my favorite thing to do is coordinate
Individual Lightning Lanes for my entire group. I think this is the best bang for your buck when it comes to maximizing your time in the theme parks and getting to ride the most in-demand attractions like
TRON Lightcycle / Run and
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. If you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you can purchase this option at 7:00 AM and pick from available times to ride each attraction.
Happy Planning,
Jenna
