Hi Scott,
Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel to help your fellow Mouseketeers plan a magical Disney vacation! That's so kind of you!
My immediate family has seven people in it, so I'm really familiar with booking Disney vacations for larger parties and I'd be happy to help! The great news is that you'll find LOTS of options. The not-as-great news is that if they have their heart set on a Moderate Resort, there is only one room category that will work for seven adults -
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort's Executive Suite, which sleeps up to 8 adults. They could always book two moderate rooms, though, and ask for adjoining (nearby) or connected (side by side with a shared, connected door) rooms. While Disney will do their best to accommodate those requests, they can't guarantee that the rooms will be together. If they'd like to be
guaranteed to be in the same room, the Executive Suite I mentioned previously or a
two bedroom Deluxe Villa will be their best bet. With a Deluxe Villa, not only will they have enough sleeping space for everyone, but they'll also find a full kitchen, living room, laundry room, and balcony or patio to really stretch out and feel at home. One other really fun option is a
Treehouse Villa at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. I stayed there once with my family
and my parents, and we absolutely loved both the unique room and the peaceful, natural setting.
Please come back and see us again, Scott, if we can help with anything else! I'm sending some pixie dust that your family members will find the
perfect Disney Resort hotel for a truly magical vacation!
Missy
