If my family member bought a ticket to Mickeys very merry christmas but is unable to go, can I use her ticket?

Welcome to planDisney, Kristin! As the holiday season is in full swing at the Walt Disney World Resort, it's the most magical time of year at the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I'm sure you're very merry to be visiting in just a few short days!

Kristin, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a special ticketed event that transforms Magic Kingdom Park into a wonderland of snowfall, holiday music, seasonal snacks, and festive fun! I'm sorry to hear that your family member is no longer able to attend this event, but the good news is that if the party ticket has not been redeemed, it can be reassigned to your My Disney Experience account as long as you are connected to one another as Family & Friends. To do this, your family member will need to go to the My Tickets & Passes tile on the My Disney Experience mobile app and find the party ticket. There should be an option to Reassign Ticket under the ticket information; by clicking this, it will load your family member's Family & Friends List and allow them to click on your name to complete the transfer. If you have any trouble with this, I'd recommend reaching out to a Cast Member using the chat feature in the mobile app or by phoning the Existing Tickets number for assistance.

Kristin, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is such a joyful celebration! I attended this event on opening night just a few days ago, and I'm still singing the Christmastime parade song and thinking about all the magical fun we had! I'd love to share a few of my top tips with you for making the most of your night at Magic Kingdom Park during this event:
    • Capture your memories with Memory Maker! Ask the PhotoPass photographers about Magic Shots; there are so many unique and fun options for them to add a little extra touch of magic to your party pictures!
    • Consider experiencing some of the major attractions during the first parade to find even shorter wait times and catch the second parade in Liberty Square or near the front of Main Street, U.S.A. for a less crowded location!
    • Check out the Disney Parks Blog Foodie Guide for unique snacks available during the party - the festive holiday pretzel was big enough for several of us to share and my favorite snack of the night!
    • Don't miss the ride overlays on Space Mountain and the Jingle Cruise, and be sure to stop and grab your complimentary cookies and hot cocoa at assorted stations throughout the park! The cookies are individually wrapped, so you can even take them home with you if you don't have the appetite to eat them all during the party!
Kristin, I hope this is helpful and that you can put your family member's party ticket to good use on your visit! If you have any other planning questions, come on back to planDisney and let us know! We're always here to bring joy to your planning world!

    Happy Holidays,
