my family are making reservations to come to walt disney world in december. I Have a 5 year old daughter and was wondering when would the best week to come with less crowds?? Thanks

    Angie,

Basically December is a feast-or-famine time at Walt Disney World when it comes to crowds. From the week of Christmas through the end of the year it is the single most crowded time of the year. The parks can actually reach full capacity.

But the first three weeks, dependent upon how the holiday falls, can be some of the lightest of the year. What I would recommend is that the optimal week is the second week of the month, then the first, then the third. So the week starting on Sunday the 8th is the best, then the week starting on Sunday the 1st, then the week starting on Sunday the 15th. After that, all bets are off!

Write me back if I can answer any follow-up questions.

    Have a magical vacation!
