Hello! Our family will be making our first visit to Disney World next week! Wondering what "can't miss" holiday sights are out and about in the resorts? We're staying at Wilderness Lodge and will be dining at the Contemporary and Grand Floridian.

Hi, Brenda!  You are visiting two of my favorite places to visit during the holidays!  The Grand Floridian is transformed into a Victorian holiday card, with the massive tree in the center of the lobby.  But the thing that really captures your attention is the life sized gingerbread house!  You'll be able to walk right up to this sweet cottage and indulge your own sweet tooth, with the purchase of a freshly baked gingerbread treat.

The Contemporary resort has another large gingerbread display you'll want to see.  Accompanied by a counter full of yummy goodness, you'll find a giant gingerbread Christmas tree.  Browse the delectable display under this wonderful holiday tree.

Over at the Beach Club resort and at the Boardwalk, you'll find two more large holiday displays, and there is usually a collection of fanciful gingerbread houses at the Polynesian.  The trees at each resort are themed to the resort, so each is unique and worth a visit just for that.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
