Our family will be making our first trip to Disney in Feb 2010. I have read that under 3 are free to the parks. Do they require a reservation for character dining? We hope to get our 4 girls to a Cinderella breakfast.

Children under the age of three do get free admission into the WDW theme parks and water parks!

Reservations are absolutely essential for character dining. When making dining reservations, you should be sure include the under-3s in your head count. This way the restaurant will be sure to have a table available that is large enough for your party. For example, I traveled to WDW several times when my twin daughters were one and two years old. Our group consisted of me, my husband, and my older daughter. If I had not included the twins in our reservation, then we would have only been given a table big enough for three people -- and with two high chairs we really needed more room than that.

Good luck with your planning and enjoy your first visit to Walt Disney World.
