My family of 6(4adults2kids(4&12)is going on Magic leaving Galveston on April 5th for 14 days through the Panama Canal. Can you give me any information about activities/entertainment for days at sea.I am concerned about 4 and 12 yr olds not being bored.

Hiya Lisa! Welcome to planDisney, a group of the *rootinest, tootinest* Disney vacation enthusiasts you ever will meet. Thanks for stopping by with your question about sailing with Disney Cruise Line. It is my pleasure to *round up* information about the entertainment and activities available on board the Disney Magic

The Disney Magic is my family’s favorite Disney cruise ship! We love the celebratory feast at Rapunzel’s Royal Table. The Snuggling Duckling Thugs put on a fantastic show that keeps you engaged and entertained throughout the meal. If you haven’t yet, I recommend watching Tangled before you sail to get excited about being immersed in the experience.

There is incredible entertainment that takes place all day on board a Disney Cruise ship. Each evening, you can enjoy live entertainment and shows in the Walt Disney Theater, like Tangled: The Musical, Twice Charmed: An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story, and Disney Dreams – An Enchanted Classic. Movies, including first-run movies, can be watched throughout the day in the Buena Vista Theater. You can even catch movies while you lounge around the pool! Numerous games and activities take place throughout the day around the ship. Check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you are on board for up-to-date information, activities, and showtimes.

One of the things that sets Disney Cruise Line apart is the focus on activities and entertainment for kids! Your 12-year-old will be able to attend Edge, a Kids Club tailored specifically to ages 11 to 14. Edge features multiple gaming systems, a dancefloor, opportunities to enjoy music, arts, and crafts, karaoke, scavenger hunts, themed nights of fun, and more. Your 4-year-old can attend Disney’s Oceaneer’s Club and spend time in Andy’s Room and Marvel Super Hero Academy. You can all enjoy some fun in the sun while splashing around at Goofy’s Pool and the AquaLab, or getting your game on at Wide World of Sports on the upper deck.

I hope this information helps you plan for an unforgettable 14-day adventure aboard the Disney Magic! You’ve got a friend in me, Lisa, in all of us here at planDisney. Stop back by whenever we can find an answer for you!
