Hi. If my family is lucky enough to score Cirque du Soleil tickets for our upcoming visit at the 5:30pm time slot...and we want to make reservations to eat at T-Rex Cafe beforehand, what time should our dining reservation ideally be made for?

    Hi John!

It sounds like you are planning a fun trip! I can't wait to see the new show at Cirque du Soleil, too. I'm always in complete awe at the amazing acrobatics and stunts!

Disney Springs is a great place to spend your afternoon and evening. There is so much to see and do. Plus, the dining is amazing! T-Rex is so much fun. Dining among the prehistoric giants and being immersed in their world is such a unique experience. I usually like to schedule about an hour for a meal here. This gives us plenty of time to be seated, order and have our meal at a fairly leisurely pace. Plus, you'll want to be sure to experience the meteor show at least once during your meal. Since this occurs approximately every 20 minutes, an hour should be plenty of time.

If you make a reservation at T-Rex for about 3:45 pm, you should have plenty of time for the meal and experience and walking time to Cirque du Soleil. You don't want to have to rush from one venue to the other, so the extra time to walk to the theater and be seated before showtime will help you keep on a more relaxed pace.

I hope this helps you plan your evening!
