    hello! Me and my family love meeting characters and sense were only staying for one day a memory maker doesn’t seem like the best option, can cast members take photos with our cameras? ALSO thank Disney mom panel for always answering and giving great tips!

    Hi Yashar!  Thank you!  It is our pleasure and honor to assist Guests with all their Disney vacation planning questions.

    In my experience, Disney PhotoPass photographers have been happy to snap photos with my camera or phone in addition to the cameras that they use.

    I have found that when comparing photos side by side, often (but not always!) the Disney PhotoPass photos are better quality.  Especially in unique lighting situations, I have found that their camera settings are better than my point-and-shoot.

    I agree that it does not make financial sense to purchase Memory Maker if you will only be visiting for one day.  But I want to make sure you are aware there is a Memory Maker One Day option that would be perfect for your situation!  Once you have at least one photo linked to your Disney account, you will see the option to purchase Memory Maker One Day right in the My Disney Experience mobile app.  Memory Maker One Day can also be purchased at Walt Disney World ticket windows or Disney PhotoPass Centers.  You may also purchase downloads or prints of individual photos.
