Welcome back, Rachel!
Rachel, I was a huge fan of the Disney Dining Plan, but at this moment we have no information on when that plan will be coming back. What I can do; however is to give you some great tips to help MINNIE-mize your budget.
Now, you are staying at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort, which houses
The Landscape of Flavors, one of
the best food courts. This quick-service option will be your best best for budget-friendly dining.
Rachel, this may sound silly but my family rarely eats breakfast from the food court. Unless we are doing a character dining meal, we will pack cereal bars, oatmeal, fruit, as well as things to make PB&Js and bring them to the theme parks. Not only does this help with our budget, but it also helps us save room for our fabulous table service meals.
I can not tell you how much I wish there was an Avenger or superhero dining experience. My little boy would be in heaven. While this does not exist, I can tell you that you will not regret making a breakfast reservation at Breakfast a la Art at
Topolino's Terrace. This signature experience will take you to the shores of the Mediterranean with Minnie, Mickey, Donald, and Daisy.
While currently, the only character meals offered to revolve around Mickey Mouse and Pals or
Disney Junior, there are plenty of other can't miss dining experiences that your family will rave about for years to come.
If you are looking to dine in a classic drive-in experience with a twist, try
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre Restaurant. If you have an adventurous family or an animal lover on your hands, you can not miss booking a sunset reservation on the savannah at
Sanaa. To dine like royalty, you must experience a fine dining pre-fixe meal at
Be Our Guest Restaurant or
Cinderella's Royal Table.
Remember, you can book all of your
dining reservations for your trip 60-days in advance of your check-in date.
I hope that this gave you some insight, Rachel. Please come back here if we can help answer any other questions for you!
