Ahoy there!
We love to see new friends here at planDisney, so welcome! I love chatting about Disney Cruise Line with families and hope to help you as you dream up your vacation. Let's get started!
The best way to discover more about your vacation possibilities, including stateroom selection, itineraries and price, is through the Disney Cruise Line website. There, you can browse the amazing itineraries under the
Destinations tab. Once you select possible itineraries, you can browse finer details such as dates and staterooms at Find a Cruise under the
Plan a Cruise tab. Since you would like to sail in December 2024, you can refine your search to that month and the length of the cruise to see all the options. Note that if you desire a Bahamian cruise, there are two ports you can depart from,
Port Canaveral or
Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, which opens up more possibilities for you.
Once you've selected the cruise itinerary, the "Select Your Stateroom" guide will help you choose the perfect stateroom option for your family.
Most staterooms accommodate up to five Guests. With a family of six, you should either plan on two connecting staterooms or a Concierge Suite. Despite the amazing amenities of a concierge stateroom, when traveling with a large party I prefer to
select two connecting rooms.
The cost of your cruise will vary depending on the itinerary, stateroom, and dates selected. The fare is typically lower the earlier you book your cruise.
Holiday-themed cruises are usually a little more expensive, but totally worth it if you love to
celebrate Christmas, so keep that in mind as you select a December cruise. As you review fares, remember there are many amenities, loads of entertainment, even
Room Service, your favorite
Characters, and much more
included in your Disney Cruise Line vacation.Have fun exploring your options! You will find the perfect cruise for your family, I'm sure! Feel free to sail by again and let us know if you have other questions as you plan; we are here to help!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
