Hi my family is looking into flying into orlando on May 8th but our reservations at AKL dont start until the 9th. we are looking at staying at the polonesian on the 8th but are wondering if there was anyway for our luggage to get to AKL. we are using ME.

No worries. The morning that you're checking out of the Polynesian, just bring your luggage down to the bell services desk at the hotel. Tell them that you would like your bags transferred to another Disney resort. They will then give you a receipt and tag them for transfer to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. You can go off and enjoy the park and when you go back to the AKL in the afternoon, you can claim your bags at the bell services desk there.
