My family is looking at April 2026 in and around Walt Disney World. Which events, especially at Epcot, should we be looking forward to if any?

    Hi, Erik!

Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for your question! A springtime visit to Walt Disney World Resort is wonderful and one of my favorite times of the year! You can expect a bloomin' good time at EPCOT, where the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will occur during your visit! This event celebrates the magic of spring in plants, food, and art forms! I love this festival because the horticulture team goes to infinity and beyond to bring in the most beautiful plants and flowers and create topiaries of favorite Disney characters to life. For a fun family challenge, see how many topiaries you find during your visit!

The food is one of the prominent events at Flower & Garden, too! Pick up a Festival Passport when you arrive at EPCOT, where you will find detailed menus featured at participating Outdoor Kitchens. A fun activity to do is Garden Graze, where you purchase five participating menu items and get a stamp in your Festival Passport. Once you get five stamps, visit Pineapple Promenade to pick up your reward! For an idea of what delicious items are available, check out this year's Foodie Guide by Disney Eats. Check out the nightly music at the Garden Rocks Concert Series, where you can listen to music from artists like Blue October. Purchase a Garden Rocks dining package for guaranteed seating in the America Gardens Theatre.

Finally, let's talk about the fun activities for Mouseketeers! Spike Bee's Pollen-Nation Exploration Scavenger Hunt is my daughter's favorite activity and a great way to explore EPCOT. Purchase a map at Creations Shop or Port of Entry, and have fun finding Spike the Bee amongst the flowers! Once you complete the map, go back to the store you purchased it from for your prize. Butterfly Landing (near the Imagination Pavilion) is another magical activity; it's so fun checking out all the butterflies and stations that detail the butterfly life cycle.

Erik, I hope all of this information helps you plan the most magical visit to EPCOT! Thank you for visiting planDisney, and reach out again if you need additional pixie dust to plan your vacation!

    Magic Awaits!
