Welcome aboard, Stacy! I love to see other families from Ohio getting ready to set sail with Disney Cruise Line! With only a few weeks left until you begin your cruise, I'm glad you're beginning to think about packing!
You'll enjoy summer-like temperatures when you sail this fall. But, yes, you are correct, it can get a bit chilly and breezy in the evenings at sea when you're out on deck, so it's a great idea to bring a light jacket or sweater to have with you just in case. I also tend to get a bit chilly in the restaurants because of the air conditioning, so I like to have a sweater with me then too. If you have pirate costumes or accessories, toss those into your suitcase too, so you can join in on the swashbuckling fun of
Pirate Night!
While you're packing, don't forget to finalize all those other plans before your cruise. Be sure you've completed your
online check-in, reserved any special extras like
Port Adventures,
Adult Exclusive Dining at Palo or Remy (Palo is my all-time favorite, I highly recommend you check it out!), and taken a look at the other onboard activities that you can pre-book during online check-in. Then, download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to your mobile device so you can easily access the schedule of daily events and activities each day once you're onboard, and you'll be ready to go!
I hope your family makes lots of magical memories on your Disney Cruise Line vacation, Stacy!
