We are a family of 5 - kids will be 10, 7, & 2. Want to try a studio villa in Dec. Choices are Saratoga Springs, Wilderness Lodge, or BLT. What do you suggest? Loved POFQ in 2010, but want to try something different. Will spend most of our time at

    Hi Jen,

You have a lot of great choices for your vacation! Unfortunately, your question cut off so I am not sure where you said you were spending your time. If I answered incorrectly, please send me another email:)

I think for your age group you might enjoy Wilderness Lodge. This is my husband's favorite and it also houses my favorite restaurant - Whispering Canyon Cafe! You will absolutely feel like you are in the Pacific Northwest. The lobby is beautiful, and if you ask the concierge, they will give you a scavenger hunt to find things around the resort. The pool feature a stream that originates in the lobby and has a current on one side which makes you feel like a salmon. There are bikes and other activities as well. You can easily take a boat to and from the Magic Kingdom which is nice.

Bay Lake Tower is beautiful. With its contemporary feel, it is the ultimate in location to get to the Magic Kingdom. The pool is small but there is bocce ball and shuffle board as well. Connected to the Contemporary, you can hope on the monorail or walk to the Magic Kingdom. You can also use the monorail to get to the Ticket and Transportation Center to head to EPCOT.

Saratoga Springs is located right next door to Downtown Disney. This location is great for shopping or if you just want to distance yourself from the parks:) While you will be on buses to head to the parks, the wait for buses can be long within the resort itself because it is a big property. I do love the ability to have a barbecue while you swim and do your laundry. Much nicer than at my house:) Also, golf is right there as well as the water parks.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
