Ahoy there, Chris! Welcome aboard, and thank you for sailing in with your question.
Disney Cruise Line has some of the most generously sized
staterooms I've seen at sea, although for the most part, they are designed for 3-5 guests. The largest type of stateroom onboard the
Disney Ships are suites at the concierge level, some of which can
accommodate up to 7-8 guests. Another option for you, Chris, is to reserve
connecting staterooms. You'll be able to identify these connecting rooms by looking at the locator deck plan of the ship on which you want to sail. It will look like an opening with two half arrows when you look at the deck plans. This will give you space for everyone, including extra bathrooms and storage space.
While most of the non-concierge
stateroom categories can accommodate 3-4 guests, many of the ocean view with verandah staterooms can sleep up to 5. A bonus to these staterooms is the divider on the verandah between two staterooms can be open so you can share one large verandah.
With five kids under 10, you'll probably want to check out not only the incredible
Youth Clubs onboard the Disney vessels, but you may want to check out some of the adult-exclusive spaces as well. Whether you want to spend an evening at one of the
nightclubs or lounges for a cocktail and some music or escape to a peaceful morning coffee from the
Cove Cafe, there is plenty for grown-ups to do!
I hope the rest of your planning is smooth sailing, Chris. We're here and happy to help if you need us.
