    My family with kids 11, 8, 7 and 5 are making our first trip to Walt Disney World in Aug.. We have 8 day hopper tickets. How would you recommend we schedule our days? Would you visit one park a day or split it up?

    Hi Kim,

    When I have Park Hopper tickets, I personally like to split up my park visits a bit.

    I find that there are some parks, particularly Epcot, that have superior dining options to the other parks. My family will often visit one of the other parks (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, or Hollywood Studios) in the morning, come back to the hotel for a swim in the afternoon, and then have dinner and go for a walk at Epcot in the evening. During a week-long trip, we'll typically spend 3-5 evenings at Epcot, but likely only one morning (making sure we get Soarin' accomplished).

    Also, you may find that there are scheduling issues that make you want to go back to a particular park in the evening. For example, if there is special party at the Magic Kingdom or late night extra magic hours at Hollywood Studios.

    Another thing to think about is that the Animal Kingdom often closes much earlier than the other parks. You may want to have some fun in the evening elsewhere. This is a great way to make use of the Park Hopper option.

    Plus, I just find it more interesting to have a change of scenery during the day.
