My family of 7 (kids 19, 17, 14, 11 & 5) will be there the last 2 wks of June. Due to circumstances we are not able to get a dining plan. How much should I budget for food alone per day? Mind you, we will be bringing our own snacks to the parks. :)

Hi, Sheryl!  How much to budget for food depends on a lot of factors.  How many counter service meals and how many table service meals do you plan to enjoy?  Are the kids big eaters?  Do your kids ever share meals?

The very best thing for you to do is to check out allears.net, where if you click on the dining tab up at the top under Walt Disney World, you will find menus from all of the dining locations, and they include prices that are pretty current.  This may help you to better estimate how  much you 'll need.

For a quick thought, for each adult, I always budget $10 for breakfast and lunch if we're doing counter service.  Dinners might be a little bit higher - around $15.  If your gang are big eaters, you might find this a little conservative.

I hope this helps get you started!
