Hi Janina! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.
It sounds like you've been enjoying the magic of more access to the parks at Disneyland Resort with your
Magic Keys. I love the
discounts and perks, especially the dining discounts. We just love to dine in the parks and the Disneyland Resort Hotels. What is your favorite part of being a Magic Key holder?
Of course, having a Magic Key is more convenient when everyone in the family has one! So, I understand wanting to secure one for your youngest. I'm sure you're aware that sales of new Magic Keys are paused at this time. There is an exception: Since you are a current Magic Key holder, you should be able to visit the main ticket booths within 60 days of your child's third birthday to purchase them a shiny new Magic Key. They'll need to be with you at the time of purchase, and you'll need proof of their age. A passport or birth certificate should do the trick. Prices and terms may differ from when you purchased your Magic Key, so be sure to read up on those before purchasing. That includes those all-important
Blockout dates. Availability of certain Magic Keys may be limited and can change without notice.
If they're older and missed that window, you'll need to wait until Magic Key sales open up again. I'm sorry that's the case. Hopefully, we see sales open up soon! I know many Guests are eager to secure one to extend the magic. We've just moved into Halloween Time and before you know it, it'll be the Holidays at Disneyland Resort. These are some of the best times of the year to visit.
