Our family has 2 issues needed to be addressed for a Nov. Disney moderate resort selection. I have 2 artificial knees & can't handle long walks & 3 family members are vegetarians therefore, closeness to restaurants w/veggie menus is needed.

Hi there, Gary! Welcome to the wonderful world of Disney Parks Moms Panel!

As someone that is pescatarian and has difficulty walking long distances, I have personally researched both of your needs for my own Walt Disney World Resort trips. Walt Disney World Resort always goes above and beyond in their accommodations both for dietary needs and mobility accessibility which is one of the reasons I return year after year!

I believe that Disney’s Port Orleans - French Quarter Resort is the perfect solution for both of your requirements! This resort is themed after the historic French Quarter in New Orleans and truly captures the romance and inspiration found within this area. Disney’s Port Orlean’s - French Quarter is only comprised of seven Guest buildings so it is on the smaller side as well. This has always been a lifesaver for me after long, exhausting days in the parks!

Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory, the Quick Service Dining location at Disney’s Port Orlean’s - French Quarter, also just so happens to be one of my favorite dining locations on property! The variety of food available and the ability to customize your meals is amazing for anyone with dietary restrictions. Almost all of their entrees are made-to-order so you can often choose which ingredients you would like to have removed. Also, be sure to ask a Cast Member which vegetarian substitutions are available!

Hopefully this information will help you in choosing a resort that will fit your specific needs!
