Hi there, Rocio, and welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for bringing your question to us and how wonderful that you will be joining your family for a super fun visit to the Disneyland Resort! I love arranging for mini family reunions at the Happiest Place on Earth because there's something for everyone.
The special
Anaheim Resident Ticket Offer is a great offer but it's meant to be used only by Anaheim Residents. The Disneyland Resort wanted to honor the citizens of the city that has hosted the Theme Parks for nearly 70 years. Any adult that uses this ticket will be required to show a valid government issued photo ID in order to verify their residency (ZIP codes 92801 through 92809, 92812, 92814 through 92817, 92825, 92850 and 92899). Your best option might be to take advantage of the
3-Day Disneyland Ticket Offer, which is another discount that expires at the same time (September 26, 2024) but is a 3-Day Ticket and is open to any Guest.
Fun Fact: The Disney Studios actually created a mascot for the city, Andy Anaheim, back in the 1950s. If Disneyland Park was the Happiest Place on Earth, then Anaheim was billed as "America's Hub of Happiness." Disney Studios also created Scoopy Bee, a mascot for the Sacramento Bee newspaper around the same time.
Rocio, I'm sorry for the news about the Anaheim residency requirement but I hope that you can still join your family at the Resort! It's an exciting time to be visiting and there's so much to look forward to. Please write back to us anytime you have more questions. We'll see ya real soon!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
