I and my family have inspire key passes to Disneyland, and I was wondering what are some fun things I can do with my two teenage daughters in both California parks?

Welcome to planDisney, Princess! As the father of two teenage daughters myself, I’ve had plenty of experience planning Disney days filled with fun for the whole family. I’d love to share a few ideas for activities you can enjoy together!

Let’s start with attractions. Both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure are packed with unforgettable experiences, but here are a few especially great for groups. Even if Star Wars isn’t your go-to fandom, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is a must. Considered by many to be the crown jewel of both parks, it immerses you in a daring mission against the First Order. Over in New Orleans Square, Pirates of the Caribbean lets your entire crew board one boat for a swashbuckling journey that’s both iconic and memorable. Jack Sparrow might even think you're after his treasure! If your family’s up for a thrill, Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! offers a hilarious, high-energy drop ride (and a perfect group photo). For a more scenic escape, Soarin’ Around the World gives you a breathtaking tour above famous landmarks. And when it’s time to slow things down, hop aboard the Disneyland Railroad for a relaxing grand circle tour of the park.

After all that fun, you’ll be ready for a treat! Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary Celebration has brought some incredible eats. Head to Jolly Holiday Bakery Café for seasonal goodies like the Strawberry Shortcake Macaron and Toffee-Nut Cold Brew. For something extra special, The Tropical Hideaway in Adventureland offers a Pineapple Upside Down Sundae that combines DOLE Whip Pineapple, caramel, cake, and a cherry. Craving a lighter option? Grab the 70th Celebration Churro, available at various carts. In Disney California Adventure, Lamplight Lounge is a great brunch stop on Pixar Pier. Reservations help, but Mobile Dine Walk-Up often does the trick. For dinner, head to San Fransokyo Square and check out Aunt Cass Café for San Fransokyo Clam Chowder and the Strawberries & Cream Cold Brew.

Don’t miss the entertainment! Each afternoon, Celebrate! Happy Cavalcade dances down Main Street, U.S.A., featuring Mickey, Minnie, and the Disneyland return of Duffy the Disney Bear, plus ShellieMay’s debut! My Q-Tip: catch the second performance from near the Main Street Train Station for a great view as the cavalcade enters Town Square. Over in Disney California Adventure, Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! brings over two dozen Pixar characters to life. Watch from near Paradise Garden Grill and follow the route for a special post-show moment!

In the evening, head to “it’s a small world” for a triple feature of nighttime magic: Paint the Night returns in electrifying style, Wondrous Journeys celebrates 100 years of Disney Animation with stunning fireworks, and A Tapestry of Happiness fills the attraction’s façade with colorful projections. From this spot, you’ll catch all three!

Princess, I hope this helps inspire an unforgettable day with your daughters. No matter what you choose, time together at the Happiest Place on Earth is always magical.

    Enjoy your Disney Day!
