Family of 8 including my mother-in-law with dementia and in wheelchair. Can we make table-service reservations (not buffet) including MIL but not buy her food (difficult to feed her)? Can we ride the Skyliner with the wheelchair folded and fit all 8 of us?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Christiane! I’m so glad to see that you have returned to let us help you with another vacation question. I love traveling with as many family members as possible when we visit Walt Disney World, because I love being able to share the magic with everyone in my family. When making your dining reservations be sure to include every member of your family to ensure that adequate space is provided at your table. Not everyone in the party is required to order when dining at a Walt Disney World table service restaurant, so rest assured that she is able to accompany the family to the restaurants without any obligation of ordering a meal.

The Disney Skyliner is my new favorite mode of transportation in Walt Disney World Resort. You can enjoy the incredible views that are provided as you are whisked away to your next destination via aerial gondola. According to the Disney Parks Blog, each Disney Skyliner cabin can accommodate 10 guests, including those traveling with wheelchairs or assistive devices, so it will definitely accommodate your family of eight.

I hope that this information helps you to have the most wonderful vacation in the Most Magical Place on Earth, this August! Please stop back by if we can help answer any more of your vacation questions.
